Maria Wurtz is a NY-Based Photographer as well as the Founder/Editor-In-Chief of Sugar, an intersectional feminist magazine that encourages women to take  initiative in all that they do. After struggling with an eating disorder and
body dysmorphia, Maria created Sugar Magazine to help bring awareness to the dangers of unrealistic beauty standards and diet culture, while promoting the importance of a pro-recovery and body positive movement.
