a little bit about me
Through her deep love and respect for Mother Nature, Liz believes it
her dharma (righteous duty) , to spread the awareness that all things
are connected and all of life is one. She teaches students that a
portion of God dwells in the heart of every living being, and that we
should live our lives treating ourselves, others, and our world with
kindness, patience, humility, ahimsa (non-harm), unconditional love,
and compassion. She encourages her students to live a conscious life,
and to connect to nature often as a way to experience the essence of
yoga (divine union). During her training at the Sivananda ashram, She
was given the spiritual name Sita.
Liz uses the techniques of the yoga science as a platform to spread
this message with the ultimate aim of bringing more love and healing
to our planet as a whole. She believes that our bodies are the temples
of the soul. By using the breathe as a tool to practice the pranic
exchange we can heal the body, establish radiant health, raise our
vibration and expand individual consciousness on the journey towards
self realization.
Liz is a E-RYT 500 Hour Yoga Acharya through the International
Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, and has been teaching yoga full-time
for the last decade. She leads open level Hatha classes, Kids classes,
Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, the Art of Positive Thinking Courses,
200 hour & 500 hour Teacher Training Courses,
private instruction, workshops, group meditations, and retreats.
